Empowering Every Learner

Every child learns differently. Our Special Education program adapts teaching methods to help children with learning challenges build confidence, academic skills, and school readiness.

What is Special Education?
Special Education is individualized instruction designed to meet the unique learning needs of children who struggle with traditional teaching methods.
How is this different from tuition?
Tuition reviews school subjects. Special Education addresses the *underlying* learning barriers (like focus, memory, or reading processing) to help the child learn how to learn.
Who needs Special Education?
Children with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Down Syndrome, or any child facing significant delays in reading, writing, or school readiness.
What is School Readiness?
It is a program that prepares children for mainstream school by teaching them how to sit, follow group instructions, hold a pencil, and interact with peers.
Can you help my child with reading (Dyslexia)?
Yes. We use multi-sensory techniques (like phonics games and visual aids) to help children understand letter sounds and word formation.
Do you support children with ADHD?
Yes. We use short, structured activities and movement breaks to help children with ADHD improve focus and task completion.
What is an IEP (Individualized Education Plan)?
An IEP is a customized roadmap we create for your child, outlining specific academic and behavioral goals to be achieved within a set timeframe.
Will my child be able to go to a normal school?
Our primary goal is "mainstreaming." We equip children with the skills they need to successfully integrate into regular schools whenever possible.
My child hates writing. Can you help?
Yes. We work on pre-writing skills (tracing, grip) and make writing fun through games to reduce anxiety and improve handwriting legibility.
How are sessions conducted?
Sessions are usually 1-on-1 to ensure personalized attention, though we also have small groups to practice classroom behavior.
At what age should we start?
Early intervention is best. If you notice your child is not picking up concepts like colors, shapes, or numbers by age 3-4, come for an assessment.
Does my child need a formal diagnosis?
No. We base our teaching on the child's specific struggles. You do not need a medical certificate to start support sessions.
Can you help with math struggles?
Yes. We use concrete objects (blocks, beads) to teach number concepts, helping children who struggle with abstract math.
How do you handle behavioral issues in class?
We use positive reinforcement strategies (similar to ABA) to encourage sitting tolerance and listening, while ignoring negative behaviors.
Do you give homework?
We provide simple, fun home activities for parents to reinforce what was learned in the session, but it is not stressful "homework."
How long does the program take?
It depends on the child's pace. Some children need a few months of support to catch up, while others benefit from ongoing assistance.
Do you work on social skills?
Yes. Learning to share, take turns, and wait in line are critical parts of our school readiness curriculum.
Is the curriculum fixed?
No. We adapt the curriculum to the child. If a child learns better visually, we use pictures. If they learn by doing, we use activities.
Can you help with exam preparation?
For older children, we teach study skills, memory strategies, and time management to help them cope with exams.
How do I enroll my child?
Book a consultation. We will assess your child's current academic level and design a learning plan suited for them.
